We are happy to share with you that Mr. Prasoon Pal Singh & Mr Chittaranjan Bhakat, students of SoST has published a paper titled ‘A Comparative Study Of Synthesis Of Gold Nanoparticles And Silver Nanoparticles By Different Reducing Reduction Processes Using Fruit Extract’, at the International Conference On Emerging Green Technologies 2011 ( Icegt 2011) , Periyar Maniammai University.

Students from the School of Interdisciplinary Science & Technology had submitted a research paper titled ‘Implementation of Multichannel G.P.S. Receiver Base Band Modules’, which has been accepted for The National Conference at Pilani Students Y Pratap and Virendra Patel have been guided by Prof Rabinder Henry, Prof. Amit Patwardhan and Prof. S M M Naidu from the School of Interdisciplinary Science & Technology.

Mr Sushil Raut (July 2009)
School of Interdisciplinary Science & Technology

Mr Sushil Raut, July 2009 student of School of Interdisciplinary Science & Technology has been accepted to pursue his Ph.D. at the Hiroshima University, Japan.

Sushil had been to Japan to attend 13^th International conference on Climbing & Walking Robots and The Support Technologies for Mobile Machines Clawer 2010 held at Nagoya Japan. His paper titled “Designing Reconfigurable Multiterrain Modular Robot MK8” and “Construction of Glossy Surface Climbing Biped Robot” was very well appreciated. Impressed with his research work, Sushil has been offered this opportunity to continue his research in Japan.

He will be offered Full Scholarship by the Japanese Government to pursue his Ph.D.

Sushil is the 5^th student to be awarded scholarship to pursue his Ph.D. from the July 2009 SoST batch.

We wish him a wonderful research career ahead!

Balraj Arunachalam – Nanoelectronics (July 2009)
School of Interdisciplinary Science & Technology

Mr.Balraj Arunachalam student from July 2009 School of Interdisciplinary Science and Technology, (SoST) has been selected/offered to do his Ph.D. in Energy Science and Engineering department at IIT-Bombay with full stipend.

It is a moment to cherish that 4 out of 16 students of July2009 SoST batch have secured doctoral positions in India, USA and Thailand with complete stipend and scholarships based on their research work in the past two years in SoST labs.
We wish the students very best!

Balraj, recently presented a research paper on the topic, " Optimization of Sensor Temperature for Sensing CO and NOx Gases Using Iron Oxide Films" at the "National Symposium on Materials for Advanced Technology - 2011", (NSMAT- 2011) held at the Banasthali University, Rajasthan on 27^th of March 2011.
