Alumni Association
Welcome to I2IT Alumni Association
For us at I2IT, the true worth of its activities, in the long run, is the success of its alumni. This association targets I2IT alumni across the globe provide news, articles and events information.
We are very happy to inform you that "I Square IT Alumni Association" formally announced its first interactive session on 22nd July 2009. This interactive session was attended by the alumni, students, faculty & staff at the convention centre of the institute.

On this occassion, Mrs. Aruna Katara, Dean Administration said, “ Alumni are the true ambassadors of an institute. I also believe there is an emotional bond between the alumni and the alma mater. Recently when I had gone to attend my daughter’s graduation ceremony in US, I met a 92 year old alumnus who was specially invited for the occasion. I know I will not be there but I am sure many of you will come back when you are 92 and bless the students and the Institute”.

You would agree that besides fulfilling the emotional need of alumni to stay in touch with its almamater, this association can be a nice platform to interact with friends, batchmates, faculty, students etc.
What could be the Role of an "Alumni Association" to help different stakeholders like, the Alumni, the Institute, the Students, the Industry etc.?
  1. A strong bondage & long term relationship between the Institute & the Alumni.
  2. Platform available to alumni to meet and communicate with their old friends / batch mates.
  3. Opportunity available to alumni to revisit the Alma Mater.
  4. Mentoring Role for the juniors of the institute (ongoing batches).
  5. Symbiotic relationship between the alumni, the institute and the companies where the  alumni are working, which is beneficial to all.
  6. A platform for industry-institute interaction (industry where alumnus is working). Institute  will be open to the suggestions/ feedback from the industry in the areas of  course-curriculum, which can be helpful to the industry.
  7. Scope to get academic services from the Institute (I Square IT) to the companies (where the alumnus is working), as and when required, like MDPs, Consultancy etc.
The Events/Activities that can be planned now and later on, as we grow:
  1. Alumni get-together events.
  2. Services of alumni can also be utilized by including them in the Interview-panel/ GD panel, during admission process of the fresh batches (if required).
  3. As we grow, more Alumni- Chapters/ Alumni Lounges can be opened at other locations (if need be).
  4. Scope to Alumni to contribute their services as Guest Lecture/ as visiting faculty (based on the seniority of alumni, subject to the need generated & the availability of alumni). ...etc.
  5. Scope for summer internship and final placement of the students of the institute, in case there is requirement in the companies where the alumnus is working. This will help companies fulfill their requirement of trained manpower. This will also help the students & the institute in terms of getting better summer internship & final placement.
There can be many other activities/ events, which could be meaningful, productive, and Value-Adding to the Alumni and to all other stakeholders. Though your Institute has taken the initiative to form the "Alumni Association", this initiative will be successful only with your efforts to participate in the activities which will be planned & organized for the benefit of the Alumni & for all stakeholders.
As and when there is any change in relevant information of alumnus like, change of company, position/ job profile, location, communication address, e-mail ID, cell no/ tel no., etc., the alumni are requested to download the Alumnus Update Form fill-it up and send to:
